This is our cherished wife and mother, Siobhan. This photograph, taken in April 2023, captures her vibrant spirit just before she began her journey through chemotherapy. It was the last photo of her before she lost her hair, a symbol of the battle she faced with such grace and courage.
By February 2024, this same photo was lovingly placed on her coffin at her funeral, serving as a beautiful reminder of the incredible woman she was.
Siobhan always had a heart full of love and a deep desire to help others, even in her final days. It was her wish to make a difference and offer support to those who are facing the same challenges she did. In her honor, we are continuing her legacy by supporting causes that were important to her.
Rest in peace, our beloved wife and mother. You will forever be in our hearts.
Please take a moment to read this website and, if you're able, donate what you can to help others. Your support means the world and will help fulfill Siobhan's wish to make a lasting impact.
Hi, and thank you for visiting my website. My name is Steve Eckersall, and I am walking in memory of my beloved wife, Siobhan, who sadly passed away from ovarian cancer in February.
Last year, I walked the Camino de Santiago and raised funds for two incredible charities in her honor. This year, I am walking again, and I’m raising money for Cudeca, the hospice that provided such amazing care for Siobhan during her final days.
